With the rising use of the KNX System throughout the world more and more projects integrating all aspects of technical building equipment are coming to life.
Extending the use of this universal infrastructure to englobe the area of access control and time management lies at hand: the system advantages,

The readers work autonomously. Once the access rights granted, a PC is not necessary for operating the door lock. The programming is performed using the IPAS Axesso Software.
Should the IPAS Axesso software be installed on a networked PC, the management functions such as time tracking, time reporting and alarm notification can be used.
It is then also possible to define and run card holder specific KNX scenes upon insertion of the card.
