The IPAS ComBridge Studio Suite is a software package that offer a wide spectrum of applications. In complex KNX bus installations with hierarchically structured Intranet or Internet networks connecting large and widely spread installations, the ComBridge Studio Suite performs all the tasks of a classical control system.
Through the simple installation on existing network servers, the ComBridge Studio Suite is easily integrated into existing network structures.
Time schedule, e-mail, alarm and database modules are available for different requirements. The respective modules are available under the designations Micro, Mini, Midi Maxi and OPC-Server.
The ComBridge Studio’s scalable structure makes it possible to only acquire those functions that are required for the installation. Gateways, users and further functions can be added at a later stage, when the need arises.
Each version contains the ComBridge Core and Webtab Service, Visual Director and Visual Editor. The software is delivered in a Tray-Box, which contains the hardware dongle, the most up-to-date software version and the user manual (PDF) in both German and English.
Each module comes with a licence for 3 gateways and 3 users.
The functions can be divided into four groups:
- The Core Service contains the basic elements Configuration Manger, Info Point Configurator and Diagnosis Center
- The OPC Service connects the KNX Bus with existing OPC Client Systems
- The automation services contain the time scheduling services, e-mail service and database logging
- The Visual Director is a complete web visualisation with user authentication and freely positioned KNX display and control elements
