Hotel

The Axesso System is the ideal, cost effective and flexible KNX solution for hotel guest and personnel access control, to grant access to rooms, staff area and shared facilities. At the same time, it can be used as time management system for the personnel. The readers can be fitted as single readers per room or as reader pairs, in order to implement all types and levels of comfort and energy savings. The pushbuttons on the reader surface on the inside reader are fully functional KNX pushbuttons that can be used for lights and for "do not disturb" signalling. The pushbutton on the outside reader can be used as door bell that is deactivated when the "do not disturb" signal is on. Cards are managed and written using web terminals, the system server itself is hosted inside a protected area. Alarms and messages can be shown as integral part of the ComBridge Studio Web Visualisation.

Retail

Retail outlets with small and medium shop floors can take considerable advantage in using KNX technology for their lighting, heating and their access control. Distributed units can easily be connected thanks to the IP and web technology to be centrally managed. When opening the outlet, KNX scenes can be triggered. For employees and cleaning personnel access can be granted and their time of presence captured.

Manufacturing

To protect the installation and at the same time to collect time sheets of personnel, the Axesso system complements existing KNX installations perfectly. This allows very cost effective implementation to capture time of presence for quality purposes, to check which staff is operating which machines at what time to later compare that to production data. Time reports are available within the webbrowser as well as per batch export so that these can easily be integrated into other software systems.

Protection of Server Rooms

Particularly important facilities such as server rooms can benefit from the supplementary protection of the system. Thanks to the extremely low administration effort to define users and cards, an implementation is very quick and of reasonable cost. Using the KNX signal, Videosurveillance can be activated via simple webcams upon entry of a person and saved to the disk, and KNX scenes can be triggered directly.

Leisure Facilities

The flexibility of the software allows to operate many different billing models simultaneously. Forfetary, room based, time based, machine based ticketing can be run in parallel. The direct KNX connection and the ability to define KNX scenes per cardholder type enables the building management to just switch on the resources that are required (lighting, heating, sauna, sun beds, gym etc)
