1993 foundet Thomas Nierhoff, Klaus Marjan and Olaf Russak the engineering company NMR. In this time barycenter of the work are prozess of automatisation prozesses inside of petrochemistry companys. 1995 changing the field to be service provider in the area of building management.

1996 establishment of IPAS GmbH

Since the establishment IPAS are concentrated in development and producing from components for building technology. Basic technology for all is EIB. Iminently performance characteristic is core competence in hardware, software and mechanical construction. Beyond we developed an infrastructure whichever enabled short development period. IPAS is in cooperation with institutions like Fraunhofer Gesellschaft or University Gerhard Merkator in Duisburg. Moreover also with well-know companys specialised in automatisation systems.
