IR LuxSolo presence detectors (on-wall)

The IR LuxSolo presence detectors can be used both in small premises such as offices, hotel or conference rooms and larger premises such as public buildings.

The multiple lens system with 81 zones and 324 switch elements can detect even the smallest movements and the resulting change in status. Depending on the application and mounting height, a radius of between 1.8 and 14m can becovered.

In optimal, application-tailored, conditions energysavings of up to 40% are possible. The easy integration into an already existing KNX building management system provides a particular advantage.

As with all KNX devices, the sensor receives the physical address of the device as well as its group address via ETS.

The IR LuxSolo’s application program provides the user with three different operating modes:

In normal mode the presence detector sends a 1-telegram and/or confi gurable 8 bit switch value after detecting a movement. If the movement is no longer detected, the sensor sends a 0- telegram or a second 8 bit value following a pre-set delay. Every new movement sets off a new sending cycle.

In half-automated mode, the sensor can also be activated through an external process (e.g. generated via an KNX-panel button). As soon as the detector has been activated, the delay time starts counting down. With a newlydetected movement, the counting starts again. In half-automated mode detection and triggering can be configured in such a way that lighting conditions need to be below a certain level.

In alarm or slave mode, the sensor can be used to trigger a master sensor. The above functions enable the detector to perfectly adapt to the specific user environment.
