To economically run modern residential as well as non-residential buildings more and more functions are employed. This goes along with a growing demand for comfort and flexibility in building function and operation. This rising demand can be simply met using communication technologies like the European Installation Bus KNX in the building installation.

The KNXnet/IP protocol standardized by KNX Association sets the stage. The ComBridge Studio system provided by IPAS is based on KNXnet/IP when it comes to connecting KNX with the Internet Protocol TCP/IP. Hence, ComBridge Studio provides IPAS customers with a future proof solution for visualization, alarm management, data gathering and building management.

ComBridge Studio as a system is based on EIBnet/IP devices and various software modules that can be assembled to address the individual application needs. ComBridge KNXnet/IP devices provide the physical connection between KNX and the data network using KNXnet/IP as the communication standard set by KNX.

ComBridge Net Communication Interface

The ComBridge Net Communication Interface (NCI) is a interface to connect a KNX installation with a TCP/IP-network.

In connection with the visualisation software ComBridge Studio Suite, a range of tasks can be performed and a web-based status display is possible. The ComBridge NCI is the most cost-effective interface for programming and visualisation tasks.

ComBridge Multi Control Gateway

The ComBridge Multi Control Gateway (MCG) combines KNXnet/IP functionality with standard KNX functions such as time scheduling, scenes, event trigger and logic function in a single device.

The KNXnet/IP object server connection makes an active KNXnet/IP tunneling connection and the visualisation of a KNX installation possible at the same time.

ComBridge Web Communication Interface

The ComBridge Web Communication Interface (WCI) is a hardware interface to connect a KNX installation with a TCP/IP-network. In addition the WCI is equipped with a web server.

Via the TCP/IP network web pages can be loaded from the web server to display a KNX status or to control KNX events. With the right network settings, these web pages can also be loaded via the Internet.
